These are designed to take participants through a process of engaging with the nature of conservation education and the key issues associated with its design and delivery - whether these be understanding and involving target audiences and appropriate vehicles and mechanisms for the conservation education process, or challenging mainstream understandings of conservation education as necessarily science-driven. Main aims and goals:The overarching objective will be on each participant to take away a preliminary conservation education framework that they can apply in practice, and to this end a number of case studies will provide examples to be followed through the delivery of the workshop.
