We all have compelling, moving, disturbing, captivating stories about work or from our field sites. But when we tell them to people, why aren't they are moved or captivated as they should be? How do we tell these stories such that all listeners, from eager children to unsentimental policy makers, not only listen but also act? How do we use the power of our stories to create the beginnings of change?
This workshop will examine what the elements of a good conservation story are, and teach you to use them for different audiences and purposes.
